Benefits of Scholarship

The Maharashtra Government offers the following benefits under the Open Merit Scholarships for Economically Backward Students.

1. Every month for ten months, all hostler girls would get INR 160. As a result, the total amount granted is INR 1,600.

2. For ten months, all female day scholars would get INR 100. As a result, the total amount granted is INR 1,000.

3. Every month for ten months, all hostel boys would receive INR 140. As a result, the total amount granted is INR 1,400.

4. For ten months, all male day scholars would get INR 80. As a result, the total amount granted is INR 800.

While the deadline for applying for the scholarship has passed you can still apply for it as soon as the application process reopens. Every year, the application process for the EBC Scholarship begins in May.
