Shri Shanta Vidyalaya Admission Experience

In the beautiful village of Siolim, this school was an landmark in my life that would become the stepping stone of my high school journey. When I first joined, this school was a simple educational institution offering classes from 5th to 10th standard. Since then, it has expanded to include lower standards and a kindergarten as well. It now caters to the needs of a wider age group. While it currently has a better infrastructure, it is fascinating to remember about its beginnings as a simple, old building when I first joined here.

The decision to enrol in this school was an important decision for me and my family, as it was more than just an educational institution; it was an opportunity for me to become part of a community that valued excellence and academic growth. I remember the day of joining this institution, there was excitement in the atmosphere as my parents and I arrived on campus around 8 am in the morning, I was filled with hope and excitement for the journey ahead.

As I stepped foot into the school premises, we saw a beautiful open ground, where a few cattle were grazing peacefully, adding to this beauty the surroundings had lush green scenery. It also had cashew trees which belonged to the local people, The atmosphere was calm and pleasant. The beautiful environment gave us an experience that blend academics with nature.

The school staff and teachers, welcomed everyone with pleasant smiles and enthusiasm, and they were also eager to assist us in every way possible. Upon reaching the admission area, the peon guided us through the admission process. We were handed an admission form, and the school authorities requested the necessary documents to be submitted, which ensured that the admission formalities proceeded smoothly. This level of organization showed us the school’s determination to provide a seamless admission process for new students and their families.

After the admission process was complete, I had a brief Q&A session with the school staff. They asked things like the reason for choosing this particular school and asked basic questions with deep interest, this made me feel valued and special. Their curiosity to get to know me personally brought a sense of belonging towards the school.

One of the peons then gave me with a brand-new backpack, four notebooks, and a geometric compass box, I found this gesture very thoughtful of them. It felt good to witness how the school gave attention to the smallest of details, like giving students with the necessary things to needed at the start of their school life.

I was filled with excitement and curiosity, my journey at this high school had finally commenced. At the time I didn&#x2019t know that this was the start of my learning, personal growth, and memories that would shape me. It provided me with the necessary foundation needed of knowledge and character development.

As I look back, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities it was provided and the environment it offered. It was within those classrooms that I developed my academic and essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and hard work. .

The friendships made were priceless. As we made our journey through the ups and downs of school, our friends became our pillars of support and our partners in creating memories.

As the years passed and the school expanded, its transformation from a simple institution to an well recognised educational institute was a source of great pride.
