Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology Admission Experience

I joined this college through management quota, but there is also a separate entrance exam which many of them don’t know.
And the most important thing is that I went to admission exactly 10 days before the commencement of the college.

Time: Reporting time was 10.00 am

Initially, I went inside the college campus around 9.50 am, and there was a small checkpoint after that I was allowed inside and I went to the admission room there was a team who was involved in the admission process. To enter the room we needed to register with a note, So the room guy asked me for the course which I was looking for then I said CSE suddenly he said the seats were over for the CSE department and he said me to pick some another course. So, I gave some other dept in the register note and I went inside the admission room.

Inside Admission Room:

Two men were sitting in the admission room, as we entered the room they told us to sit down. Then we asked for a seat in the CSE department, and they said that the seats for CSE had been over a month ago. And I asked whether there were any M.Tech integrated courses, they said we don’t have any Integrated courses and then we came out of that room. Suddenly the chief admission officer entered the room and we asked him for the seat, he asked for my 12th marksheet along with my contact number and he said “If there is any vacancy in the seat we’ll contact you”. Then we came out and went to a nearby college since we didn’t have any hope of getting admission here.

While we entered that college we got a call from the Sathyabama office and they said “There is a vacancy do you want to book a seat, we said yes” and regarding fees, they told us to come to the office. We also asked for the same seat in this college and they also replied that the seats were over. After coming out of this college we went to Sathyabama.

Since I went so late for the admission the fees were high, and they asked again for confirmation we said yes. After that, we paid fees online and there was some procedure for access to ERP, LMS, etc, After completing that procedure we came out of the campus.

NOTE:

While choosing colleges always try to have several backup colleges in different tier levels, so that don’t need to run at the last time and the fees will also be as much as low if you reach the college as much as before the commencement.
