Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT ) Amethi Admission Experience

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college, including minimum academic qualifications and entrance examination requirements. These criteria may vary depending on the program and category( e.g., Indian nationals, NRI/PIO/Foreign nationals.)

Entrance Examination:

Students are required to take the JEE Main entrance examination, and after qualifying it students are required to take the JEE Advance entrance examination.

Application Process:

Candidates are required to complete the application form for RGIPT and submit it along with the required documents, such as academic transcripts, certificates, and photographs. Candidates are required to fill out their program and its specialization in the application according to their preference. Counselling and Seat allotment:

Candidates are shortlisted in three rounds. Shortlisted candidates are allotted seats based on the JEE Advance result, and if seats remain vacant they are given admission through JEE Mains result. Seat allotment is done based on the candidate’s merit and preferences.

Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation:

Candidates who are successfully shortlisted are required to make a payment for their seat confirmation. After that, they are required to pay the full fee for one semester before the due date for successful admission to the college.

Document Verification:

After successful admission, candidates are required to report to the college for document verification. They need to submit the necessary documents, such as educational certificates, identity proof, and other relevant paperwork. Once done, the admission process is considered complete.
