G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management Admission Experience in IT

I want to share my admission experience at G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management.

Exams need to qualify:

We need to qualify for the A.K.T.U B.TECH Engineering Entrance Exam which is conducted every year. The exam was conducted in the month of April.

• It consists of a total of 150 questions which consist of Physics-50 Question, Chemistry-50 Question, and Mathematics-50 Question i.e. for every correct answer +4 is awarded, 150*4=600.

There is no negative marking in this exam

Suggestion: Buy a previous 20-year question bank book of A.K.TU/U.P.TU/UPSEE Engineering Entrance Exam and try to solve on daily basis at least one year question.

Tips: Try to solve all questions does not skip any question(because there is no negative marking), First solve those subject which is your strongest.

Minimum Rank to get admission in Information Technology: Around 30k rank you need to hold IT in G.L Bajaj, It depends on the seat vacant in that year.

Eglibilty Criteria: Minimum 45% marks in Intermediate.

Counselling Process:- After clearing the exam, there is a counseling process in which we need to upload the documents online on A.K.T.U Website.

Documents are like:

1. 10th marksheet.
2. 12th marksheet.
3. UPTU Score Card.
4. UPTU Admit Card.
5. Aadhar card.

College allotments: The university allows colleges according to rank, so in the first round of counseling at A.K.T.U I got IT(Information Technology) at G.L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management. In the allotment letter, there is a date mentioned in which we report to the allocated institution.

Document Verification:- So after that college allotment I need to carry these documents during admission in G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management.

• Aadhar card ( students and parents)
• U.P.T.U Rank Card.
• U.P.T.U Admit Card.
• U.P.T.U College allotment letter.
• Character Certificate.
• Migration Certificate.
• Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Domicile Certificate.
• Income Certificate ( if a seat is allotted under FW Category).
• Gap Certificate ( if there is a gap during education)
• Ragging Affidavit.
• Four passport-size photos.
• College Fees Demand Draft in the Favor of College.

College Academics Start: After 12-15 days college gave one date to report into the college and daily classes will start.
