Nucleus Software Exports Interview Experience 2023 (On-Campus)

Nucleus Software is the leading provider of lending and transaction banking solutions to the global financial services industry. This company visited our campus for the recruitment process in the month of October 2022. First, a pre-placement talk was scheduled in the morning followed by the first round of technical assessment.

Online test:

The first round consisted of 3 sections:

• a coding question(important to complete, languages available : C/C++, Java)
• technical MCQ and
• aptitude MCQ questions.

The Level of questions was easy to medium in each section. The selection criteria were very simple you have to pass all test cases of coding questions and there was a sectional cut-off in the Technical and aptitude round. On the same day, the result was declared and there were 50 students selected for the interview round out of approx. 600 students.

Final Interview:

The interviewer asked me to tell him something about me. As I briefed him on my skills and projects. He picked up one of my projects and went into detail about the logic and various other questions related to my project. After that, he jumped into my skills:

DBMS:

• Define ACID Properties
• What is 3NF
• How many tables will be required to represent two entities which are in many to many relationship

SQL:

• I was asked to write a query based on self join

HTML:

• What is DOM?
