I was having my interview on October 20, 2023. There were around 60 students who got shortlisted for the interview round. I was advised to go through some concepts of Java, Advanced DSA, and OOP, and I did the same.

Their PPT started at 10:30 and continued until 11:30, after which the interview started.

There were two rounds during the process. One was the technical interview round, and the second was the quiz round.

In the interview round, I was asked about my resume, and the interviewer was primarily focusing on it.

Initially, I was asked questions based on Javascript and NodeJs. They asked me about how to call an API and how many methods there are for calling an API. Then he asked me more about AJAX.

After that, he asked me about JSON, what JSON is, and what its advantages are over other formats if they exist too.

Then he started checking my resume and started asking me for my resume only. Then he started asking about my project. Then he moved to computer core subjects.

The interviewer was switching questions too fast. As he asked me about mutex and semaphore, while I was answering the question, he switched to normalization, and this continued till last.

Finally, he asked me a DSA question ( asteroid collisions – LEETCODE) and asked me to write code for it on a sheet. Then he asked me the logic, and while I was explaining the logic, he asked me to point to the part of the code where that particular logic was implemented.

After the coding question, he again started asking me questions about OS and DBMS (not a single question from OOP and Java).

After around 40–50 minutes, my interview was over, and at around 6:30, the result of round 1 was declared, and I got shortlisted for the second round.

There were around 20 students shortlisted for the second round.

At around 8:45, our PC asked us to leave as no more interviews were going to be taken just because of time constraints.

And yeah, that’s the end.
