Everyone always remembers their first interview. No matter whether you are selected or rejected.
As this was my first interview and had no idea about what they asked I have prepared some expected questions that can be asked from a Computer Science student. On the day of the Interview, I was more nervous than I expected, but I kept my nerves under control and hid it with a smile.
One by one we were called for an interview. When I was called, I entered the room with confidence. There were a total of 5 members on the panel. One by one they asked questions and that was:-
- What is your name?
- Where you are from?
- Have you heard about the Linked List Data structure?
- Which Sorting Algorithm will you use to sort the elements of the Linked List & what will be the Time Complexity?
- What is Stack & Queue?
- What is the difference between a Stack and a queue?
- Tell us about your final year project.
- Which Programming Language did you use in your final year project?
- Which Programming Language you are most comfortable with?
- Give one example of Supervised Machine Learning.
- You are not doing your job, so what are doing right now?
- Why did you start your preparation for GATE?
- How many Layers are there in the OSI layer?
- SMTP protocol works on which layer?
- Name one protocol that is used in Network Layer.
- What is the need to develop IPv6, if we have IPv4?
- Do you know about overflow conditions?
- What is a Heap?
- Name all the layers in OSI model?
- What is an Array List?
With that, the interviewer told me that’s all. You can go.
Thank you!!
I Hope, sharing my interview experience will definitely help someone. All the best!!
