Kyndryl, Inc. is an American multinational information technology infrastructure services provider that designs, builds, manages and develops large-scale information systems. It is currently the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider and the fifth-largest consulting provider.

I applied for the role through their careers and received a call from HR about my resume being screened within 2-3 weeks and we started for the interviews after a week or two.

Stage 1

The initial round was a technical interview round lasting for 45 minutes which was based on Java and Springboot. Other topics covered were MySQL and a bit about the technologies that I used earlier. The interview was mostly focused on the strategy to solve the given problem rather than its implementation. He was interested in the solution and he provided many follow-ups after which at a point of discussion, he asked me to write a piece of code for the approach which I provided.

Altogether, the round was of medium-level difficulty.

Stage 2

This also was a technical round with a panel of interviewers. The first interviewer went through the theoretical concepts mostly diving into Springboot, MySQL, Java, and AWS and providing some challenges to solve in the middle. Then started the discussion with the second interviewer, who in a period of max 20 minutes had asked about 2-3 problems. He was mostly looking forward to real-life approaches where we discussed several logics and their implementation in Java. In all, this was a medium to hard difficulty level round which lasted for almost an hour.

Stage 3

The final round was a techno-managerial round lasting for half an hour, mostly focusing on leadership and situation-handling abilities. He started with Agile methodology and the process which I used to follow was totally in line with their approach. After this, he was quite impressed and then he went for some problems related to web applications and nginx.
