Hi there, I recently cleared the interview of Mallow Technologies for the junior developer role. In this article, I will explain in detail about my interview experience.

JMAN Group is a reputable software consultation company, that has work locations in India, the USA, and the UK. They specialize in providing tailored technology solutions and advice. Their services encompass software architecture, system optimization, and project management, offering valuable insights to businesses seeking to enhance their IT operations. They help businesses streamline their software strategies and achieve their tech-related goals.

Round 1:

  • It is a resume shortlisting round and on my campus, around 80% of the candidates got shortlisted for round two.
  • Tailor your resume according to the job description to clear this round.
  • Although it is an eliminatory round, it is easy to clear this round.

Round 2 :

  • It is an online assessment and you will have three sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability.
  • You will have 20 questions in each section which needs to be solved in 20 minutes.
  • Each section will have a separate timer and time cannot be shared among the sections.
  • The questions asked in Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning were easy to solve, whereas in Verbal Ability, the questions were quite harder.
  • It is an eliminatory round.

Round 3:

  • It is a group discussion, that was organized in the college premises itself.
  • Each group consisted of 8 candidates and it is a mass eliminatory round.
  • Only one or two students from each group got shortlisted for the next round.
  • The common Group discussion topics given on our campus were,
    • Pros and cons of online education
    • Job hopping vs Job royalty
    • Effects of global warming in today’s world
    • Skill vs degree

Round 4:

  • It is a technical HR discussion
  • Most of the questions were asked from topics like
    • Object Oriented Programming
    • Operating System
    • Database Management System
    • Computer Networks
  • Finally, a pen and paper are given to write some SQL queries and to write code for some basic-level problems like pattern printing and string matching.

Round 5:

  • It is a general HR discussion
  • The most commonly asked questions were
    • Tell me about your educational and family background along with your strengths and weakness.
    • How will you use your strength in the workplace?
    • Are you ready to relocate?
    • Which emoji in your keyboard resembles you the most and why?
    • What is your view on criticism in the workplace?
    • Explain your ideal workplace where you can be more productive
