JM Financials Interview Experience for Stack Developer (On-Campus) 2022

In 2022, I had the privilege of receiving an on-campus internship offer for the Full Stack Developer Intern role. The process commenced with a tailored assessment, designed to evaluate candidates’ suitability for their respective positions.

Online Test: For the Full Stack Developer role, this initial test encompassed a spectrum of topics. It included questions probing fundamental computer science principles, such as predicting program output and errors. Additionally, there were inquiries focusing on web development, covering essential aspects of Java and Node.js.

Technical Interview: From the pool of applicants, five of us emerged as shortlisted candidates, progressing to the next stage. The following day, the interview rounds unfolded, offering a comprehensive evaluation of our skills and capabilities. In my initial interview, I found myself engaged in a stimulating discussion centered around my technical prowess. The interviewer probed into the technology stacks I had employed in my previous projects and dug deeper into the intricacies of backend development. Topics such as API calls, web webhooks in React, and socket programming were covered. Notably, this interview extensively explored my resume, highlighting the importance of having an in-depth understanding of the projects and internship experience I had listed. This round ultimately identified two candidates, and I was elated to be among the select few who advanced.

HR Round : Subsequently, an HR interview was conducted, presenting an opportunity to demonstrate my problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilities. I was presented with hypothetical scenarios and tasked with proposing optimal solutions, which included puzzle-solving elements. Moreover, I was asked to share five positive qualities about myself that had not been included in my resume, showcasing my ability to think on my feet and present a well-rounded picture of my character.

After a brief waiting period filled with anticipation, the results were unveiled, and I received the gratifying news that I had been chosen for the Full Stack Developer internship position at Mumbai office.
