Like all students, after passing class 10, I was excited and ready to level up myself in class 11. As from the start of class 11, it was difficult to understand any subject, as the level of hardness goes very high. I was also one of the students, who was struggling to understand physics, chemistry, and mathematics in a much better way. I started my preparation for JEE mains from mid of class 11, which was my very first mistake. Everyone should take their studies very seriously after entering into class 11th, as it requires more time to understand such a vast syllabus completely.

Importance of  NCERT’s

One should start with basic question-solving from all three important subjects. Before moving to any renowned author book, every student must complete their NCERT’s, as this is the very first book for building basic fundamental concepts.

Other Writer’s Books

Then one should move to any writer’s books for JEE mains. After completing any topic one should practice the previous year’s questions asked from that topic. Practicing previous year’s questions will make you understand the format and type of questions asked from that topic.

DO’S in case of confusion –

Always go for any one author’s book for practicing questions. Taking many books will vast your syllabus and sometimes it will confuse you to understand any particular topic. Take the book of every famous writer from the library and read every book for one day, go for only one author whose language is better understood by you.

Understanding  what is Exam about

Stick on NCERT for chemistry preparation, for physics and mathematics one should go for author.

As the syllabus of JEE mains is very vast, so one should always focus on quality content, not on quantity as covering any topic completely is more important than covering every topic. Questions asked in JEE mains from any topic can vary from easy to hard in level.

Practicing mock papers.

One should start practicing mock test papers, when there is one or two months left for the exam, as it is very important to understand the format of question asked and analyze time limits.
