Incedo Interview Experience

This was my first interview where I qualified for round 1 and moved to round 2

In round 1:

The basic questions were all about projects and my resume they went into detail about knowing me, and then gave situations like HR questions and if I’m the team lead for a particular project how could I divide the work among my colleagues. Then the sir, asked me what is RDMS. suddenly it didn’t strike me. I said sir I know the answer but am not able to get it now, he said Relational DBMS, I further added points like saying It consists of tables, in rows and columns. Then I wrote UML diagrams in my skills in Resume. He asked me to draw it I drew also, and then he asked me more about projects, and he asked why weren’t there any catching projects for the SDE role, I added saying sir I have applied for a quality assurance role then he was like oh okay fine then. He asked me if I knew the testing tools I named them. After then the Interview got over and sir asked any questions, I asked more on testing what is the exact role of it and all.

In round 2:

I was qualified for round 2, This was nervous.

• Tell me about yourself
• Pick any projects you are interested in and tell me about them.
  Here I made a mistake by picking, I should have told that all the projects are done with equal interest. Then in languages I have given Japanese, he asked me how much I knew in Japanese.

• DBMS Ques-Joins, Foreign key, types of joins
• Since I applied for testing, Testing questions were asked.
• What main qualities are required for the testing role?
• what is testing?Its types -These all i answered correctly he was fine
• Puzzle question-water jug question
  I answered it correctly but the interviewer was making me confused.They always try their way for not selecting us.Then he was like this easy question also you don’t know.when i came home i searched for answer it was exact the same.

• Coding Ques-After he said like that i got too panic, i got an easy coding question,write a program to reverse a number.since i was panic i could only think of with linkedlist way and nothing else.
  Then he asked me If there are 10Million numbers i need to search the 7th million number which search optimal? i said binary search he told me to explain,I explained but he was like no, then you want to traverse for 2 million times after 5th million it will search so, he still wanted an efficient way,I asked im not able to get it now sir.

• Thats all asked me any questions? I asked more releated to testing their functionalities and all.That’s all
  After round 2 i didn’t get selected.Thats it.I learnt my knowledge as well as luck,communication skill,not being nervous no might ever what is all matters here.
