Incedo Interview Experience for SDE (On-Campus) 2022

Incedo Inc. visited our college, MANIT – Bhopal on July – 22, and everything was conducted in virtual mode. Applied for the role of Software Development Engineer. While applying for the same we were asked to choose a programming language from C, C++, and JAVA. I chose C++.
And for our college criteria is 65% in 10th, 12th, Graduation, also in Masters. According to our criteria, 181 people are eligible for the OT round.  There were 3 rounds in the whole process.

Round 1 – (Online Test) :Total Time – 95 minutes.  It is comprised of 6 sections and each section had a timer. You can’t move between questions as well as sections.

• English Comprehension consisted of synonyms, antonyms, and questions based on two passages, etc.
• Logical Ability consisted of coding and decoding questions, number series questions, blood relations, etc.
• Quantitative Ability consisted of questions from Profit and Loss, Time and Work, Permutations and Combinations, etc.
• Computer Programming consisted of questions where we had to predict the output of the code, and other technical MCQs based on Data Structures and Algorithms and the programming language I chose (i.e., C++).
• Automata Fix consisted of questions where we were given a piece of code and a paragraph on what that code was supposed to do. We had to find errors in the given code and correct them to make them behave the way they were intended to.
• The personality section was statements such as “I can manage multiple tasks at the same time” and we had to mark how we feel about the statement (i.e., Strongly disagree, Disagree, Neutral, Agree, or Strongly Agree).

After this, we received the invitation for the next round on the same day. A total of 181 students appeared for this round and 51 were called for the technical interview on the next day.

Round 2 – (Technical Round) (Time – 30 minutes): HR started with his introduction and then asked me about mine. I gave an intro in about 5 mins that ended with my future goals and expectations.

• He then directly asked me about the 1st project that I mentioned in my resume. I explained it and then he asked me about the technology and why and how I got the idea for this project.
• He then asked me about 2nd project and my contribution to this project (based on Blockchain).
• He then followed this by asking me about the problems I faced during the creation of this project and I briefly explained them. 
• Then he asked me if I am comfortable with DBMS and I said I’m familiar but I don’t have much experience.
• Then there were some questions about the frontend technology of my project.
• Then he asked me basic questions like “My strengths”, and “weaknesses”.
• After this, the interviewer asked if I had any questions and I did, So I asked a few questions and on the same day, I received an invitation for the next round. A total of 51 students appeared for this round and 18-20 were called for the leadership round.

Round 3 – (Leadership Round)(Time – 30 minutes)

• HR started with his introduction and then asked me about mine. I gave an intro in about 5 mins that ended with my hobbies.
• He showed interest in my hobbies so I took the time to go through them in a bit more detail.
• He wanted to know more about me and so I explained my strengths and weaknesses which took 5-6 minutes. He also took the time to advise me on my weaknesses and how could I overcome them.
• The next question was “Why Incedo?” (I took 5 minutes to explain my answers).
• After this, the interviewer asked if I had any questions and I did, So I asked a few questions.
  

On the same day, I received the result. And I am selected for the 6M+FTE Role.
