IIT JEE Preparation Experience

Introduction:

Hello, everyone! I am Kavya Sree, currently pursuing my final year in B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering with a specialization in Data Science from the esteemed Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE). Today, I am excited to share my experience of preparing and successfully cracking the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains in 2020.

Understanding JEE Mains:

The JEE Mains is a highly competitive national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various engineering and architecture courses in India. With over 10 lakh students appearing for it annually, the competition is intense. The exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 for engineering aspirants and Paper 2 for architecture aspirants. In 2020, I decided to appear for Paper 1.

The Beginnings of My JEE Journey:

During my 10th grade at Sri Sastra Junior College, I first learned about JEE, thanks to the lecturers who introduced us to HC Verma and ignited my interest in the exam. As I progressed to my 12th grade at Sri Chaithanya Junior College, the lockdown due to the pandemic became a turning point in my preparation journey.

Preparation Strategy:

To begin my preparation, I meticulously planned my approach. I started by outlining the entire syllabus, ensuring I knew the areas I needed to focus on. YouTube became an essential part of my preparation, and I found a valuable partner in the Vedantu YouTube channel. Their videos provided clarity on doubts, a roadmap for my studies, and previous year’s question discussions.

Consistency and Persistence:

With consistent efforts and dedication, I completed all the important topics first, laying a strong foundation for my preparation. The previous year’s question papers played a vital role in understanding the exam pattern and boosting my confidence. I made sure to go through them thoroughly. Vedantu’s revision sessions helped solidify my understanding of key concepts before the exam.

Achievement and Success:

Finally, after putting in considerable effort and commitment, I managed to score an impressive 95 percentile in the JEE Mains exam. I am thrilled to share that I successfully cracked the exam, realizing my dream of securing a position in a prestigious institution.

My journey of cracking JEE Mains taught me the significance of determination, consistency, and perseverance in achieving one’s goals.
