The IIT JEE exam consists of two parts: JEE Main and Advanced. The National Testing Agency (NTA) sets the exam pattern for JEE Main, the exam pattern for JEE Main. The pattern for JEE Advanced is designed by the IIT JAB examination body.

INTRODUCTION :

I took My JEE exam in 2021(I got 97.63 percentile). This is my best learning time. In this period I learned a lot. You wake up from your Cadbury 12th class preparation. That preparation teaches you how stiff competition is going outside.

Yes, This is One of the most challenging exams in India.

How Hard to get into this :

No. of students who give JEE MAINS=11,13,325

No. of students who qualify for ADVANCE=2,51,673

No. of students who get a seat in IIT=15,000

Therefore, Success rate=15,000/11,13,325*100 = 1.3 % only

and for getting older IITs you need to rank yourself in the top 4k-5k students.

This is not for your demotivation, it is just a reality check for how hard you have to be to clear the examination.
