NEET to JEE Preparation Experience

Late, After my High School, In 2020 during the extreme Covid pandemic, I had my preparation for NEET Exam, The exam had postponed 3 times and was last held on 9th Nov 2020, in which I secured 358/720, But this mark didn’t help me to get a government seat.

At last, I decided to push myself one more time ” Yes, I am a NEET REPEATER STUDENT, I had taken a year lag in my Life to crack NEET 2021.

I struggled every minute of my coaching preparation, but I said to myself don’t quit

However, my Dad managed to get admission to a famous private Institution. I fixed in my mind that “No matter, how worse the situation is, I should make it.”

Finally wrote NEET on 12th Sep 2021, and happily came out of the exam hall & Inner I said: “I am going to be a Doctor”.

The result is out, I got 91.5 percentile (453/720) on my 2nd attempt, but still, I did not manage to get a pure government seat and failed AGAIN because of the negative markings.

After taking some career assessment tests, I came to know that I have an interest in the domain of FOOD and agriculture.

If not medical, then BTech Food Technology, I had also taken the ICAR exam in 2021- Agriculture and secured around 83% & somehow managed to get Top university in Tamil Nadu and about to join, but the thing happened is????

My sister had taken deciding responsibility for my career

I have two sister both of them were DOCTER, I have had seen both of them struggling to work in the medical field in and off the covid-19.

Frankly speaking during pandemic situation IT sector had a flexible Work environment & Huge growth in aspects of income & life.

PS: COMPUTER SCIENCE is the bottom last shown domain of my interest in assessment test report.

Somehow my sister changed my perspective view of career.

For safety backup, I applied Engineering Counselling TNEA 2021, based on my 12th mark 435/500 CBSE (2020), I didn’t get the best choice filling choice due to ALL PASS CRITERIA.

Time passed away & but I am still in search of a college. This is the darkest phase of my life!

Finally, My dad managed me to get into a Tier-3 College. A great transition from BIOLOGY to COMPUTER SCIENCE.

After admission, with a lot of thoughts running in mind. when I first reached my room in the hostel, I was glad to see many students same as me.

“JUST BECAUSE MY PATH IS DIFFERENT

DOES N’T MEAN I’M LOST”

Today, I am pursuing 3nd year of BTech Information Technology successfully.
