HTML | DOM Input Number stepDown() Method

The DOM Input Number stepDown() method in HTML DOM is used to decrease the value of the number field by the given value.

Syntax:

numberObject.stepDown(number)

Parameters: It accepts a single and required parameter:

number: It specifies the number by which the number field to be decreased. By default, it is decremented by 1.

Return Value: It doesn’t return any value.

Example: This example shows the working of stepDown() method:
