What is an Internship?

An internship is a professional working experience that involves practical work that is directly related to the candidate’s or student’s educational background or their related field of interest, and this is an entry-level position for those who want to start their professional career in any field after their graduation or post-graduation. Most companies in India only offer the PPO letter once interns have completed their studies. Also, in paid internships, the candidates put more effort into learning and show more seriousness towards their work.
  • Internship duration and conversion details should be provided: The employer should always share details about the internship duration and details related to the conversion chances of the interns.
  • Final-year students should be given more preference: The companies should always give more preference to the final-year students, as the college does not provide NOCs (no objection certificates) to all the students, and this sometimes becomes a major issue as, nowadays, most of the companies ask for NOCs for starting internships.
