Google Interview Experience for Internship (Off-campus)

It is an opportunity for students who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree and are in their pre-final year. I applied for the position of google summer intern-2023.

• I filled out the form on the official website of Google i.e. Google Careers. I did not receive any info regarding it for many days.
• After a month or so, I received a mail in which there was a link to a form attached. I had to fill out the form if I was still interested to appear for a google interview. I filled yes in the form. Some days later, I received another mail in which it was another form link was there and I had to choose 5 slots between 25th September to 30th September. I filled out the google form.
• After 5 days, I received another email in which Interview links for both rounds (Round 1 and Round 2) were sent. Every candidate needs to appear for both rounds of interviews irrespective of the fact if the person was able to do well in round 1 or not.
• The questions in both rounds were of medium to hard level. According to the privacy policy of google, I cannot disclose the questions, but the question in the first round had a rigorous application of stack with lots of corner cases and the 2nd round had a question based on dynamic programming.
• For the second round, I first wrote the recursive solution and then I memorized the code for betterment of the time complexity.
• The interviewers of both rounds were very cooperative and they tried to guide me in the right direction throughout the interview by giving me small hints.
• Now it was my responsibility to understand their hints and apply them to my code.
