Round 1: Online Application Shortlisting

Consisted of basic details, along with some essay-type questions-

  • What is your motivation to run a Google Developer Student Club at your Institution?
  • What is your experience in leading a project or a team?
  • What is your experience with technology?

And a video-type question:

  • Record a 90-second video and show us why you are the right person to be a GDSC Leader at your Institution.

Round 2: Virtual Interview (Behavioral + HR)

  • Please share your introduction.
  • Tell me about your experience in communities or organizing events.
  • How will you choose your core team? How will you ensure that the right members are selected?
  • What steps will you take to ensure that an event is organized well?
  • How would you handle conflicts or disagreements within the GDSC team?
  • If you want to organize an event and want to approach a speaker for speaking at it then what will be your approach?
  • If you have announced an event, and on the day of the event, the speaker is not able to come due to any reason, then what you will do?
  • Why do you want to become a GDSC Lead?
  • What all programming languages have you learned?
  • What tech fields are you exploring and have you made any projects on them?
  • Do you have any questions for me?

Some suggestions:

  • Review common interview questions.
  • Stay confident and calm during the interview.
  • Provide specific examples from your past experiences that highlight your skills.
