Forcepoint Interview Experience for FTE

Eligibility:

1. CGPI 8 and above
2. Min 85% in 12th/Diploma
3. Min 90% in 10th
4. Computer and IT branch

Interview Process:- Online Aptitude test, 2 Technical Rounds, and an HR round.

Round 1: Aptitude + Technical MCQs (75 minutes)

This round was conducted on the Mettl platform. It had 5 sections each timed for 11 minutes except the coding question.

1. Logical Reasoning –5 Questions
2. Quantitative Reasoning –5 Questions
3. Verbal Reasoning –5 Questions
4. Data Interpretation –5 Questions
5. Data structure and algorithms –15 questions
6. Basic programming language questions–1 question (20 minutes)

Round 2: Technical Round 1 (1 hour)

The interviewer started asking about basic topics that’ll be OS, DBMS, and programming languages mentioned on Resume.

1. Introduce yourself
2. Python vs C++
3. What’s OOPS?? What are threads? Difference between threads and processes?
4. Basic questions on final year project
5. DSA

The interviewer dictated questions and I typed them out on the editor as comments. Then shared my approach and implemented the solution.

Then there were 3 puzzles,

Tip:-Don’t panic, if there’s an error in the code, think calmly and debug it.

Round 3: Technical Round 2 (30 minutes)

This was comparatively easier as you would be asked to share any one of your projects mentioned in your resume and execute it or explain your contribution to it.

Round 4: HR round (20 minutes)

1. How were the interview rounds?
2. What are your hobbies?
3. Do you have any questions about us or about company culture etc?
