Round 1(Offline Test – Duration: 1.5hr):

This was a written assessment round held in offline mode. There were 19 questions and the time given was 1 hr. 30 min There was a negative marking of ¼ on the wrong answer. Among 19, 10 question was on Java Pseudo code like determining the output of code, finding an error, and some logical questions on OOPS
concept, exception handling, questions from searching and sorting algorithm, etc. 

The level of questions was easy to moderate. 

And the remaining 9 questions were from quant and logical reasoning. The level of question is from easy to moderate level. Topics like speed and distance, work and time, Logical questions on LCM and HCF, counting no of triangle or square, minimum no of different colors required to color the diagram, Blood relation, one question was from mensuration, etc.

Result declared within 3 hours.

Round 2(Technical Round): This round was held on next day.

  1. First, he asked for an introduction.
  2. Then he asked me normal questions like what currently I am doing, what are my hobbies, what I like most in written round programming or quant section, and some normal conversation.
  3. Then he asked me to solve one quant question which I solved in a written round.
  4. Next question was what you prefer dev or quality assurance profile and why.
  5. What are some advantages of the tester over the developer?
  6. What is the SRS document?
  7. Some conditional question like if a developer get work to develop a software and he will complete it within 30 days then as a tester what will you do in this duration of time?
  8. What is the responsibility of a quality assurance engineer?
  9. Name some tools used for testing.

The interview lasted for 30 min.

Round 3(Technical Round): First introduction as usual.

  1. First question was what are features of Java.
  2. What are object and class?
  3. What is the difference between class and interface?
  4. Write code to describe the difference between class and interface.
  5. Difference between run time and compile time polymorphism.
  6. One codding question based on searching technique. (Level simple)
  7. What is joins in Dbms?
  8. Write a SQL query to print the name of the oldest employee from the employees’ table.
  9. What are the memory management techniques in Operating System?
  10. What are paging and segmentation?
  11. Types of process scheduling algorithms along with examples.
  12. What is multithreading?

The interview lasted for 30 min.

Round 4(HR):

  1. Asked me to introduce myself.
  2. You are willing to relocate to Bangalore.
  3. Questions on family background how many members, what they are doing, etc.
  4. Asked about my strength and weakness.
  5. Rate your English communication skills. How will you improve it.
  6. What I am doing in my free time.
  7. Whether I am willing for more higher education.
  8. What is my biggest achievement while perusing Post graduation.
  9. What I will prefer developer or quality assurance profile.
  10. At last, he asked me whether I have any questions for him. I asked and the interview was over.
