Hi there! Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO) came in December 2020 for virtually recruiting. It was an on-campus placement drive. The process which the company followed was very specific and was fairly easy to crack. Though knowledge of basic programming skills and CS subjects is required.

Round 1(Coding Test): The overall process started with a coding test.

  • 3 basic coding questions were asked such as merging two linked lists and basic array problems.
  • Around 150 students were selected.

Round 2: The second round was purely resume-based.

  • Make sure to mention your projects which are very thorough to you.
  • 30 students were shortlisted after the second round.
  • After resume-based selection, the interview round was conducted.

Interview Round:

  • It was a technical interview where we were first asked about our projects and all the tech stack used.
  • This was an important round where they also check how confident you are.
  • Logical questions based on the array were asked such as how many Tuesdays are there in between your date of birth and today’s date. This required basic array knowledge.
  • The company also tested some basic knowledge about databases.

HR Round:

  • After the technical round, the HR round was conducted where they usually test your soft skills and leadership qualities.
  • Verbal communication plays a key role.

As this was a virtual experience, there was no GD round. Previously FICO also conducted group discussion round.

Overall the interview experience was good and the company’s culture so far is amazing!
