E&Y India Interview Experience for Analyst (On-Campus)

At first, they shortlisted the resumes and 200 students appeared for this test. 

Round 1: General test (online): Time duration: 2hr. There were 50 questions. Sections involved:

  • Aptitude
  • English
  • Networking 
  • DBMS
  • General programming MCQs

 It was a time-bound exam in which general questions were asked from the above topics there were no coding questions in this round. Every question was in the form of MCQ and there were no negative making for wrong answers. In programming questions, they asked output-based questions from c/c++.

Result: The result of this round was released after 1 week of the exam and only 100 were selected for the second round.

Round 2: Coding Test (online): Time duration: 60 minutes. There were two simple questions based on the below topics and it was held on Hackerrank.

  • Sorting
  • Tree

Result: The result came after 2-3 days and 60 students were selected for the next round.

Round 3: Group Discussion (online): Time duration: 40 minutes. There were six groups, each having 10 students. The gd was too easy as there were no topics given to us, we were asked to introduce ourselves in the most appropriate way. It was held through zoom.

Result: The result came within 2-3 hours, and only 42 students were selected for the final interview. The interview was conducted the next day.

Round 4: Final Interview (online): Students were divided into panels. The interview lasted for 40 min.  There were no technical questions asked, the prime focus was on the project. So I would suggest that please prepare your project well.  There were some behavioral questions and situational-based questions asked.

Result: Out of 42, only 35 were selected.
