A total of 250-300 students from CS/IT appeared for the On-campus recruitment process, Out of which 6 were selected. The process involved a total of Four rounds. I will try to walk you through my experience and also give you some tips/advice for each round.

Round 1: Online Test

  • There are three Sections.
  • The First Section was Based on Aptitude and covered some of the Topics like Quants..etc.
  • The Second was Computer Fundamentals and also covered programming concepts in Data structures, DBMS, and other concepts
  • The third Section has Psychometric Questions and also questions on Handling client requests and Client Satisfaction.
  • The Best part is there are no coding questions in the test and all are mcq based questions.

Tips for this round:

  • You must be very good at Programming Concepts and aptitude.
  • Stay calm at the time of the test. Just do your best.

Round 2: Group Discussion.

  • I would say it was not a pure group discussion section it is more like JAM.
  • In my case 30 people were Qualified for the Group Discussion Round, They divided 15 members as a group.
  • Every person has to introduce themselves and based on the SD HR asked the Questions
  • In my case, I mentioned traveling as a hobby in the Self Introduction and HR asked me about the recently visited places.

Tips for this round:

  • You must Speak Confidently and loudly.
  • It is different from Group Discussion but you have to say your SD in front of 18 people So just be Confident.

Round 3: Technical Interview

Time: 50 mins

  • The interviewer introduced himself by describing his role at DhruvSoft Services Private Limited before asking me “Tell me something about yourself”.
  • Then she first asks some questions from theory subjects like OS, DBMS, and OOPS.
  • Tell me something about Deadlock and How it can be removed.
  • Difference between normal methods and constructors.
  • What is data abstraction and why do we need it?
  • Questions about your programming language
  • Is JAVA a pure object-oriented language and why strings are immutable?
  • Gave two programming questions to solve
  • 1. Splitting a string
  • 2. Even or odd
  • Gave four pseudo codes and asked to give an output of them.

Tips for this round:

  • Prepare the core subjects (DBMS, Operating System, OOPS, CN).
  • Be confident and accept your mistake humbly if you don’t know a few answers or you tell wrong answers.
  • The TR was very friendly our interview went like a discussion and also he supported me when I get fumbled.

Round 4: HR Interview

Time: 15 mins

  • Greeted HR and the first question was “Tell me about yourself”.
  • Started giving Self Introduction and said about the project in my SD.

  • And she also questioned me about the hobbies mentioned.
  • What do you know about our Company?
