Personal Experience:

  • I enjoyed the DBS hiring process, it is one of the most unique hiring processes I have seen till date. They filtered out some students based on their basic coding skills then they invited them for a hackathon virtually.
  • They guided us at each and every step. In the hackathon, we were assigned mentors who were responsible for judging us and guiding us through our solution.
  • They do not expect you to be perfect in everything. You should show them that you are interested in learning and putting effort into learning.
  •  In a hackathon, Communication is the key to highlighting yourself.
  •  Talk to your teammates regarding your understanding of the problem solution.
  • Also, try to build the module of your solution that you are responsible for and keep on getting feedback from your mentor.
  • HR round was very friendly, they were more interested in the delivery of your answer.
  •  Communication needs to be strong. You do not need to get nervous while being interviewed at DBS.
