DeltaX Interview Experience for Associate Product Engineer (2023)

DeltaX came to our college J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology on 28th September. All the process of recruiting was online. They were hiring for an Associate Product Engineer position, In the JD it was written that the selected students would go into the 4-month boot camp to convert them into full-stack developers. The total number of open positions was mentioned as 50.

Eligibility:

• Minimum 50% CGPA.
• Only CS and IT students.

A total of 95 students registered for the same. 95 looks a quite small number because, they were hiring for Bangalore, Pune, and Hyderabad. All of these are metro cities. Relocation in metro cities was a great issue for students, Therefore, only 95 applied for the opportunity.

• Round 1 (Online MCQ):
  • The First Round was an online MCQ round taken at Google form. That GForm contains 50 questions that need to be done in under 45 minutes. The domains of question were DBMS, C pseudo-code, OS, and OOPS. One has to be aware of the timing because there was no clock in GForm to remind that you have X minutes left. We had to submit that form manually for 45 minutes and failed to do so our GForm would not be considered for delta X. Most of the questions were available on the internet and direct copy-paste MCQs were there. Take care of C-suedo code questions, because they are the ones that can be solved by their own intelligence. So, if you want to be ahead of your colleagues, then attempt C questions carefully, the rest of the questions can be easily found on the internet.
• Round 2 (Online Coding):
  • Total 8 out of 95 students selected for Coding Round. The coding round contains 5 questions needed to be solve in 2.5 hours. 2 questions were of easy level and 3 were of medium difficulty. To be in a safe side you need to solve at least 4 out of 5 questions.
• Round 3 (Online Interview):
  • Only 1 student out of 8 was selected for interview round. That was from my stream. After the interview, I took his experience. He said that they asked a hard coding question from him. Interview was not well according to him.

Next day result came, they said that no one is selected for DeltaX. This was the first company of placement season-2023 that went empty handed from our college.
