This drive was conducted by the training and placement cell at Sister Nivedita University. The overall interview process was in offline mode.

Round 1 :

  • The first online assessment was an online aptitude test where only quantitative aptitude-based questions were given. The questions were very few in number.
  • The level of questions was easy to medium level and were from the topics of profit and loss, series-based questions, mixtures, algebraic questions, etc.
  • The questions were 10-15 in number and most of the students were able to do it.

Suggestions: Try practising quants from websites like GeeksforGeeks, PrepInsta, etc. from various topics which I have mentioned above and also try some new questions from there, but practise precisely.

Round 2 :

  • Those who were able to clear round 1 were shortlisted for 2nd round which was also an online assessment where there were 3 questions from the coding part.
  • The actual questions were from the topics of the array, then the second one was from the 2d array and it can also be from the LinkedList type approach also the difficulty level was medium to hard.
  • The third question was very hard (as it seemed to me) and it can be solved by using a hashmap or by dynamic programming approach.

Suggestions: Try practising questions from the topics like an array, strings, recursion, graphs, dynamic programming, hashmaps, hash sets, etc. as this company gives a good level of coding questions. Practise from websites like GeeksforGeeks, PrepInsta, etc.

Round 3 :

  • 1. The results were declared by the night of the same day, and those who cleared the second round were shortlisted for the technical interview round which was held offline at our college campus.
  • 2. Very few candidates were able to clear the 2nd round and now the interview started. Firstly, as the session started they started asking very heavy questions like implementing hashmap full on pen & paper, Implementing Linkedlist full from scratch etc.
  • 3. Then questions were also asked from operating systems, DBMS, and SQL queries were given to implement in front of the interviewer.
  • 4. Then as a few candidates passed, they found that candidates are getting it really difficult, so they now left asking data structures part but now focussing on problem-solving basic concepts like binary search, prime numbers, recursions, OOPS, etc.
  • 5. So finally they shortlisted around 6-8 candidates from the technical interview round.

Suggestions: Try practising data structures from scratch along with the problem-solving from various topics which I mentioned above from websites like GeeksforGeeks, PrepInsta, etc. Also, read the theoretical subjects well before the interview.

Round 4 :

  • The final round was the HR round for the shortlisted candidates. The HR round was held at their Kolkata office a day after the technical interview
  • The HR round was well for all the candidates. The HR was very friendly and he was just asking first to introduce himself and then asking how were the questions, how was the interview panel, how was the interview gone and so on normal questions.
  • Finally all the candidates were selected who were shortlisted for this round.

Suggestions: Try to be confident and don’t feel nervous. Always practise speaking English in front of the mirror so that you become a confident speaker and always be calm. Else everything will be well.
