Banasthali Vidyapith Admission Experience

After completion of class 12, every student is tense as to which college he/she will finally land because to some extent your college defines your future path.

When searching for colleges for a degree one thinks of infrastructure, placements, fee structure, basic facilities like libraries, labs, etc. A similar was the case with me as well, I filled out a number of applications in a few I got selected and in a few I got rejected, but finally, I took admitted to Banasthali Vidhyapith considering all factors and my abilities.

Banasthali Admission Test: It was an aptitude + PCM(Physics, Chemistry, Maths) with negative marking and OMR filling type.

Once you get shortlisted you will get a letter from the university, from this letter your branch can’t be predicted beforehand. The candidate is then called for counseling and an interview.

I was called 10 days after the result got declared at 1 pm time slot.

Counseling Day: Your mandatory documents are checked, a small medical examination is done, and in an interview, they ask basic questions about class 12 subjects and why you want to take admitted there, they will ask if you have any objections to the universities rules and regulations.

Then you are sent to another building on the campus for counseling there you are asked about your preferred branch and they check your BAT score and 12th percentage and accordingly allot you the branch.

Verdict: Took admission to the Computer Science Branch.
