AltWorld Work experience as Metafluencer

AltWorld is a creator-led metaverse where 3D content is the expression of creativity. It is India’s first social metaverse where hundreds of virtual spaces created by everyone are merged to give an amazing social experience to the users.

I came to know about AltWorld through LinkedIn and applied for the Metafluencer virtual internship. Soon after which I received a call with short interaction and was added to a WhatsApp group.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Metafluencer, my key responsibility was to spread the word about the advent of the metaverse that AltWorld was creating. We were given tasks every week which included interacting with peers about metaverse, spreading the word through social media, and collaborating with the interested participants.

This was my first step in the universe of the metaverse. As a part of the program, I got the opportunity to attend many useful sessions by industry experts relating to Blockchain technology and the emerging metaverse. I also gained knowledge about social media marketing and influencing as a part of this virtual internship.

As far as I feel, there are no cons in the company. It’s an amazing start-up catering to young Indian minds. It has a really supportive team and queries are addressed on time. It also encourages its interns with goodies, vouchers, and PPO for good performance.

Pros:

Cons:

• Lack of training.
