Wipro Interview Experience (Off-Campus)

Hi, I was selected in Wipro in October 2021 off-campus. Currently working as a Project Engineer in Turbo Profile.

Wipro has two Hiring programs named WILP and ELITE. In WILP they generally hire B.Sc and BCA students and in ELITE they hire Engineering graduates.

When I was hired there were three rounds total. But currently, there are only two rounds because after coding round the technical and HR rounds were combined and named Business round.

Round 1: The first round has the pattern of the following questions:

• 20 Aptitude Questions (Basic Quant)
• 10 Questions from Core subjects (Basics of DBMS,C++,C)
• 3 Comprehension Question (English)
• 2 Coding questions

Now, all of you must thinking about the coding part. Don’t worry they are very basic questions from the topic like Arrays, Strings. Do some practice questions on strings and you can solve the questions or just go through the inbuilt functions of Strings, you can solve them easily. Generally, the codes get completed within 20 lines(Maximum).

After the exam, you will receive a mail for your next round within one or two months sometimes 3 months. In my case, it was three months. They will ask you for a preferred slot for your interview and when you fill the time and date, then they will send you a link for your interview at least 72 hours prior.

Round 2: Now in this round just prepare yourself with your introduction part. After this, they will get back to your Resume/CV. In my case they asked the following question :

• Tell me a brief introduction about you. Difference between C and C++.
• Oops, Concept.
• Early Binding and Late Binding. (OOPs concept Overloading and Overriding)
• Difference between DDL and DML commands.
• Deadlock in Operating System.
• Concepts of Keys(Primary, Candidate, and Foreign)
• Do you have any questions for me? Never say No just ask about her/his role and Journey with the company, I asked the same one. She was quite happy with my answers.

After two days I received a mail for my HR round.

Round 3: Before this interview, I have prepared some HR-type questions and she asked me the following:

• Tell me something about yourself.
• What are your Strengths and weakness? (Tell any 2-3 strengths and 2-3 weaknesses but make sure your strength and weakness are not contradictory with each other, just keep in mind).
• Why do you want to join Wipro?
• Why do we hire you?
• Do you have any questions for me? Just ask about her journey with the current company and company culture and final question ask her/his “Ma’am/Sir up to when I can expect my final results”.

Make a wish “Have a good/great day Sir/Ma’am”. This statement makes a good impact of yours on interviewer.

After 5 days I received my letter of authentication(LOA) and after further three days, I received my offer letter and Onboarding details.
