Sharing my admissions procedure experience:

Admission Year: 2021

I’m Saurav Kesari, and I’m an MCA (2021-23) student at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University with a major in Computer Science. So, two years ago, when I took the CMAT exam and received a respectable score, I was torn between which college to attend for my MCA.

My family urged me to finish my postgraduate studies in the state. Keeping this in mind, I began looking for respected engineering schools in Gujarat on the Internet.

After a lot of research, I decided to get myself into a Government College. So, I have gathered the information of all the government colleges in Gujarat who was offering the MCA Programme. Not all the information which I had gathered was true and complete when I did a ground reality check. Talking about Top Colleges for MCA in Gujarat are MSU Baroda, Nirma University Ahmedabad, Gujarat Vidyapeeth Ahmedabad, LD College Ahmedabad, and VNSGU Surat. From the start, I had a clear mindset of getting a seat in a Government College.

In Gujarat, ACPC uses an online mode to carry out the MCA admissions counseling process. My grade wasn’t high enough to get me into a top government engineering school like LD College or MSU Baroda. But happily, I was given a government position at the VNSGU Surat Department of Computer Science. I was relieved to see that the fees for a government seat are only about 6,000 per semester, which made me extremely delighted.

The admissions procedure was then carried out as instructed by college administrators. I successfully completed the admissions procedure, and then there was a 2-day freshmen induction Programme that I really enjoyed.

The two years I spent in college were the best of my life, and I met several new friends there. The college features helpful personnel and knowledgeable professors with more than 20 years of experience. In comparison to other government colleges, placement is pretty good.

If you want to study engineering but can’t afford the high tuition at private institutions, I would suggest this college. I would also bring attention to the college’s disadvantage, which is that the MCA curriculum is not as relevant at the industrial level, therefore you must learn new skills on your own.

If you have any further questions, please let me know; I would be delighted to assist you!
