TKIET Warananagar Kolhapur Campus Experience

My college name is Tatyasaheb Kore Institute of Engineering and Technology Warananagar, Kolhapur which was established in 1987. TKIET is an autonomous private Engineering college. Our college got NAAC A+ grades in last 4 years. Now the next step is on the way is having the NBA accreditation. Our college provides a wide range of degree programs. These programs are approved by AICTE and delivered to students in full-time mode also are taught by experienced faculty members. Around my college, there are a lot of trees. Whenever you see it, everywhere is Greenery.

I got a seat in the Computer Science Engineering branch at TKIET through the Maharashtra State Engineering Entrance Exam (MHT-CET). After confirming the seat for final admission it’s mandatory to come to college for reporting. So, on physical reporting day, I had to come to college in offline mode. So, I came with my father and reached Warananagar in the morning at 11.00 am. Then first of all we had completed the admission procedure. Then we met the Professor Shinde Sir. Shinde sir told me about how the college management works and information about the hostel. A lot of discussions were made between sir and us.

When our college was started, our induction program was organized by the college. In that induction program, they gave us information about the college, campus, staff, etc. It was an amazing experience during this one-week program.

Our campus is constructed with several blocks which include the admission office, Department of Computer Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronic and Telecommunication, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Our college has the largest playground named ” Shivneri”. TKIET has many clubs like sports club, Coders club, Logic Code club, Speaker club, and many more.

Placement: The placement percentage is good but the package is average, around 4 LPA. Almost 80% of students get placed on an average package. The highest package is around 12 LPA and 4LPA is an average package. Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Wynnum, Persistent, etc. are top recruiting companies that have approached TKIET.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are smart, benches are comfortable in every classroom, peaceful and clean environment to focus. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. All the computers are fully functional. Every department has its own different labs. All kinds of books are available in the library and can be issued free using a student’s library card. Overall environment is good for study.

Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful, most of them are professors, who have years of experience in teaching. The course structure is perfect if the student is willing to learn from the bottom of their heart. Semester exams aren’t tough if you attend the classes carefully and make your own notes.

Overall, our college’s importance environment is too good for study. The main important of our college is our campus is The course thewho full of nature.
