TCS Interview Experience for Freshers for ASE

Introduction

An interview is a conversation when you talk with your potential employer . You show why you are suitable for the work as an opportunity to prove that. Don’t forget to be sincere and confident! In this article I will share my interview experience with TCS.

Round 1: TCS Online Assessment

Actual the first round consisted of an online written exam that includes two sections. The first one, called foundation section, consisted of subsections: numeric, verbal ,reasoning ability, and the advanced section which is advanced coding, advanced quantitative and reasoning ability . In sum, first-round exam included 83 questions and was limited by a range of time approximately 190 minutes.

Round 2: TCS Technical Interview

I received the email for the technical interview one day before, and it happened on Microsoft Teams. The questions were: strings, features of C, loops, method overloading, method overriding, type-casting, differences between unions and joins, mention primary key and unique key in SQL, Oops concepts in java like what is class ,object, polymorphism, ,inheritance ,encapsulation ,abstraction with example and very basic questions on coding how to create class and object and then about array concept and a question with a code: method implementational .

Round 3: TCS HR Round

HR round was scheduled a few minutes after. It was also on MS Teams. The questions were simple, such as:

• Tell me about yourself?
• Strength and weakness
• Are you ready to relocate
• The CEO of TCS
• The difference between service and product company
• experience of losing; taking part in TCS’s competition, specifically CodeVita
• prepared to travel and sign the service file

I gave all the answers with confidence and patience.After the HR round, I received a call from TCS for background verification. Once the verification is completed, they will email the offer letter and the date of joining. They also requested me to send the necessary documents for verification.
