As per the latest syllabus and exam pattern, there will be 80 questions for 160 marks which candidates will need to solve in 60 minutes with negative marking of 0.50 marks. SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern for 2024 is structured in three phases for selecting candidates.

  • Exam to consist of 4 sections with 80 questions in total.
  • The duration for the SSC GD Constable Tier I exam for 60 minutes.
  • Computer Based Examination (CBE) to be conducted in bilingual languages- Hindi and English only.
  • There would be negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrect answers in the SSC GD online test.
  • Questions should be asked in online examinations of Higher school of 10th level

SSC GD Constable PET ( Physical Efficiency Test)

If the candidates get higher scores than the specified cutoff marks in the SSC GD Online exam, they can take part in the Physical Efficiency Test. The rules for this test are determined by the SSC.

SSC GD Constable PST (Physical Standard Test)

After the PET, there will be a Physical Standard Test that will select candidates based on physical measurements like height, chest size, and vision. Those who pass this stage will proceed to the medical examination. The specifics are explained below:
