Societe Generale visited our college to hire students for full-time roles.

Three roles were there and you have to fill your preference by registering yourself on their website.

The roles were: Software Engineer, System Engineer, and RISK(Data Role)

Round 1: [Online Assessment]

It comprised Questions that covered topics based on the role you selected. The level of difficulty was intermediate.

Round 2: [Technical Round]

The interview rounds weren’t that vast. They asked a few basic yet thoughtful questions.

For RISK the questions revolved around DBMS and SQL. For the Software Engineering role, they focused on your projects, data structures, and your core subjects as well. People were asked puzzles as well. Some were asked questions related to real-life scenarios as well like suppose you want to secure your site then what do you do?

Round 3: [Managerial Round]

This round focused more on your behavioral skills and how you present yourself. You’ll be asked scenario-based questions. You’ll be asked a few follow-up questions on your core as well.

Round 4: [HR Round]

The interviewer asked some basic questions. This round is like traditional HR rounds of the companies. Why this company, what will be the time slot you’ll prefer to work. Since this is a foreign company, it expects you to work in shifts. If you’re a woman or if you’re not comfortable to work in night shifts then you can tell them straight off that you will prefer to work in morning shift and because of so and so concerns you won’t be able to work in night shift. Further, they asked if we had any queries or questions to ask.

Finally, they selected 12 students in total for all the 3 roles.

Recent Update: All the selected students got a mail after a month that they’ll be offered an internship as well. Earlier it was just full time but now as per the recent mail all the students are offered internship as well.
