Round 1: It was an online assessment with 2 sections first was core domain mcqs and the next was gamified aptitude assessment. 

  • The core questions from EEE was a bit tough as I chose R&D as the domain of choice. 
  • It was about 40 mins. 
  • The gamified assessment was new and engaging with trick questions.

Round 2: After a week the results came.35 cleared the first round in circuit and mechanical branch. 

  • In EEE 2 people cleared the round. 
  • This was a common round among tier 1 colleges, I was from Amrita many from NITs and IITs were in my panel of 10. In the technical round I was tested on all the core domains like Machines, Analog Integrated circuits, Power systems, Switch gear, Microcontrollers, RTOS, DSP also about my inplant training on a substation. 
  • It lasted for about 30 mins. 
  • I was asked to draw some circuit diagrams also. 
  • At last, I was asked about the location preference.

Round 3: Results came on the same day. This was also a common round among many colleges, in my panel 7 people were present. 

  • In this, I was asked my opinion on automation, digitalization, day-to-day use of digitalization, and some standard HR questions. 
  • Then I was asked about my domain of choice and location preference. 
  • This round lasted for about 15 mins.

After 3 days results were announced for ECE and 2 people were selected and 2 days after that my results came I was selected from EEE.
