Raghu Engineering College,VSP Admission Experience –

I finished my class 12 in 2020 at Basara Junior College in Visakhapatnam, AP with a score of 65%. At that time Carona hit majorly in India. So, My EAMCET exam got postponed due to the lockdown. The lockdown continued for 3 months and then I wrote my Eamcet exam with little preparation and scored a rank of 91,625. I was so depressed with the results and cried a lot. Then my father stood by my side and gave me the courage to face other challenges. I tried Raghu Engineering College which has cut-off marks of nearly 90,000. After Counselling I wasn’t allotted the college I desired and got a seat in BVCR, Rajahmundry in the Mechanical branch.

I thought it was a good college and decided to join it. But my took me to the Raghu Engineering College which I desired and paid the first year fee of 69,700 on the spot(Yes, I am Management) for admission to the ECE branch. The Fee structure as described below:{Based on 2020}

1st year:

• 69,700(Main Fee),
• 15,000(Management Fee),
• 10,000(2-CRT classes fee),
• 1500 (Sem exam fee) and other fees are excluded.

2nd year:

• 69,700(Main Fee),
• 15,000(Management Fee),
• 10,000(2-CRT classes fee),
• 1500 (Sem exam fee) and other fees are excluded.

3rd year:

• 69,700(Main Fee),
• 15,000(Management Fee),
• 10,000(2-CRT classes fee),
• 1500 (Sem exam fee) and other fees are excluded.

4th year:

• 69,700(Main Fee),
• 15,000(Management Fee),
• 10,000(2-CRT classes fee),
• 1500 (Sem exam fee) and other fees are excluded.

Campus Environiment:

1. The Campus is located at Dhakamarri which is 8km from Thagarapuvalasa on road to Vizianagarm.
2. It has one basketball court and a very small cricket ground which is mostly suitable for a little practice ground and some matches with other colleges occurs.
3. Some teachers have a student friendly and caring mindset most of the time. Strictness is subjective and may vary from teacher to teacher.
4. The campus has a majority of CSE students wrt to other branch students due to its specialization .
5. The college has a library but the library is mainly equipped with 10+computers andcollege books only, most students go there for self-learn.

The College has decent placement record in Visakhapatnam and has a good name in education experience.So that’s how my admission has done and my study journey begin
