I recently had the opportunity to interview for the GDC – Technology Consulting role at PwC India, It was an on-campus opportunity

There were a total of 4 rounds:

𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟭 (𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁):

Exam Platform: Superset

Time Allotted: 60 minutes (45 questions)

Difficulty: Hard

Topics: Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability

The Aptitude test was a bit tough as compared to the tests of other Big 4 companies in Round 1. There was no sectional time frame, and no coding questions were included in this round. All rounds were elimination rounds. After 2 days, I received an email for the Technical interview round.

𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟮 (𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄): This was a virtual round. It began with a self-introduction. Following that, he asked questions on the topic of CS, Projects, and Cyber Security.

-> Difference between Java & Python

-> Why Java is faster and how it works

-> What do you know about vulnerability?

-> How Firewall works.

-> Some questions on Cyberattacks, HTTPS, and SQL Injection.

-> Tell me about your projects.

-> Explain how you build this project(He checked the deploy link)

-> Any questions for me?

This round was held for around 25 mins. After 3 hours, I received confirmation that I cleared this round and was invited for the Partner Interview on the same day.

𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟯 (𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄): He asked me to introduce myself. After the introduction, he asked me some situational-based questions.

-> He presented a situation and asked me how I would develop the code.

-> Describe a situation where you demonstrated leadership skills

-> Tell me about achievements other than academics.

-> If you were assigned a project where the required tech stack was unknown to you, how would you deal with that situation?

-> How will you lead a team of 5 members

-> There were some questions regarding how you worked during your internships.

-> Do you have any questions for me?

This round lasted for around 20-25 minutes. Regrettably, after 8 hours, I received a rejection email on the same day.

𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟰 (𝗛𝗥 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄): This round was based on HR questions, such as Tell me about your family. Why PwC? Plans for further studies? Do you know the job role and CTC? Comfortable with traveling? etc

It was an insightful experience engaging in these rounds, each presenting unique challenges and luck. Although the outcome was not what I had hoped for.
