Interbiz Consulting Interview Experience

Interbiz Consulting is a boutique software development company focused on using technology to improve business processes with head office in the USA & offices in Australia, Netherlands, and India.

I applied for the role of Software Engineer in the company through LinkedIn and also approached a recruiter. The recruiter asked me to share my CV and be ready for an interview call.

So it was a telephonic interview. As they were more into hiring Web Developer and also my CV had skills mentioned. So the interview goes like this:

Please introduce yourself.

The technical questions that were asked me were from HTML, CSS, and Javascript:

1. Difference between margin and padding in CSS.
2. Explain the box model in CSS.
3. Difference between different types of CSS
4. CSS specificity, and how does it work?
5. Concept of flexbox and how it can be used for flexible layout designs.
6. CSS animations and transitions
7. Purpose of the <img> tag in HTML?
8. Different types of form inputs in HTML5, and how do you validate user input
9. Differences between the <canvas> and <svg> elements in HTML5
10. Content Security Policy (CSP) in HTML
11. Cookies, sessionStorage, and localStorage in terms of data storage in the browser?
12. Difference between Class Selector and Id Selector.
13. Event delegation in JavaScript.
14. memoization in JavaScript.

and more. (the questions were mainly about CSS).

After the interview ended, after two days I received the confirmation email.
