I’m studying B-Tech in the stream of CSE -AI&ML.

I’ve attended an interview with a company named Publicis Sapient. So first of all it was a single round interview consisting of both HR and TR. As every company usually ask about the self-introduction at the beginning, I told about it which included my details, hobbies, strengths and weaknesses, parent’s qualifications etc.

Then they mixed up all the TR and HR questions one by one. They asked me about Java (theory), a C code of my choice (had to write and explain it), my projects in detail, a few SQL queries, and questions from my resume (regarding hackathons, and certifications I) out of which I’ve correctly answered 97% of the questions since I knew about it. I even answered HR questions confidently. My total interview was about 45 minutes.

I came out of the cabin very happy. But the result was unexpected. I didn’t get the job. Didn’t know my exact mistake at that time but later convinced myself and pushed into other companies with more confidence. So my suggestion from this interview is not about how to succeed, instead, it is about how to overcome failure.

As I’m a recession period passing out student, I can tell that sometimes even though the talent in us is enormous, the job might be lost, but at all times it need not be our fault. So be confident and move towards the future ahead with even more talent and opportunities.
