The Martian Program is an on-campus Internship program offered by Persistent Systems for the 2024 batch in 2023 and through the Martian Program students can also get PPO/full-time roles at Persistent.

An assessment was taken for selection in the Program.

Online Test:

This was the initial step for selection in the program and this step examines you in Aptitude, Logical reasoning and Computer Science fundamentals.

Along with MCQs there were 2 coding questions.

I was able to perform well in the assessment and hence I was selected for the internship program.

This internship was for 6-week and every week, we were trained on different topics such as DBMS, Linux, and DSA. Also, they train us in a Programming Language. There were 2 options python or Java track. The questions will come from the selected track and you have to solve them in that programming language only.

At the end of each week, there was an MCQ assessment on the topic you got trained.

After training for all 6 weeks there was a final assessment based on which we had the chance to get PPO. This was done in shifts and batches.

Final Assessment:

This final assessment consists of an MCQ on the topic that was taught in the previous 6 weeks and 2 programming questions from the selected language track.
