Online Test : ( 2.5Hr ) :

  • The online test was on Hacakerrank and lasted for 2.5 hours containing various sections. 
  • The first section was multiple choice and covered various topics such as logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, operating systems, database management systems, and computer networks. 
  • The second section consisted of three questions that required coding, including one medium to hard-level coding question, one medium SQL query, and one REST API-based development question. 
  • Those who were able to solve either coding questions or SQL queries were cleared this round. Around 100 people took the test, and 20 were selected to move on to the next round.

Round 1: ( Technical Interview: – 50 mins ):

  • Brief introduction 
  • SQL vs NoSQL difference
  • ACID properties
  • Joins and types of joins
  • ER diagram and degree of relationship
  • Indexing and Why it is Used
  • Some basic OOP-based questions
  • Deep Copy and Shallow Copy
  • Virtual functions 
  • 10-15 min discussion on my personal project.

     He was very much impressed by the answers and focused on my knowledge and confidence.

Round 2: ( Coding + HR  round :- 40 mins )  :

During this round, she asked me to share my screen, open any code editor and code the quicksort algorithm. She then asked me questions related to the time and space complexity of the code and requested an explanation of the algorithm

Finally some HR-based questions:

  1. Asked about my family background.
  2. questions related to relocation and my hobbies.
  3. suppose one of your team members is not contributing to the project how you will deal with him?
  4. Your weaknesses and how did you overcome it?

The result was declared on the same day at 6 PM and 8 out of 20 were selected.

Verdict: Selected
