NVIDIA CEO: Those Without AI Expertise Will Be Left Behind

Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA urges individuals and firms to familiarize themselves with Artificial Intelligence expertise or they might end up losing in the long run.

The co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of the leading American software company Nvidia recently threw light on the importance of getting familiar with the latest AI technology. Mr. Jensen Huang, while giving a commencement speech at National Taiwan University in Taipei highlighted how it has become mandatory for businesses to equip themselves with the latest AI tools and technology or else they’ll end up left behind.

“Agile companies will take advantage of AI and boost their position. Companies less so will perish.” “While some worry that AI may take their jobs, someone who’s expert with AI will.”

Jensen Huang, unlike others, believes that it’s not AI that will replace human jobs but the humans themselves who’ll be trained in using AI technology. He said that these emerging AI technologies will transform the corporate world and change all human jobs while also generating new job roles in the future.

“The technology, thrust into the popular consciousness by OpenAI’s ChatGPT late last year, will be used as a copilot to supercharge the performance of workers across a wide range of industries, while also creating new jobs that never existed and making some others obsolete”, Huang commented.

While addressing the graduating students at the National Taiwan University in Taipei, Jensen also urged them to create something new and exceptional that can become revolutionary amidst the evolving AI technology.

“In 40 years, we created the PC, Internet, mobile, cloud, and now the AI era. What will you create? Whatever it is, run after it like we did. Run, don’t walk. Either you are running for food, or you are running from becoming food.”

The company’s processors have been serving as the ideally standardized processor used for training the AI models including the OpenAI’s ChatGPT language model GPT-4. Nvidia is currently a dominant player in providing tech companies with OpenAI’s equivalent technology.
