How to Apply for a No Objection Certificate

For Online:

  • Step 3: Pay the No Objection Certificate application processing fee.
  • Step 4: Visit the NOC department with the application form and payment slip proof to obtain your individual number.

For Offline:

  • To receive the NOC, the applicant must complete out Form No. 28 correctly and submit it to the Regional Transport Office (RTO) with the necessary documentation. Once the application has been submitted, the RTO will get in touch with the relevant parties to request a vehicle report from the police department to make sure the car hasn’t been involved in any crimes or has been reported stolen.

Validity of No Objection Certificate or NOC

A No Objection Certificate can only be used for a maximum of 6 (six) months. Within six months of receiving the certificate, the vehicle must be reregistered in the new jurisdiction’s RTO.
