Admission to NIT Warangal is based on qualifying for the IIT JEE-Mains examination, along with meeting minimum class 12 exam percentage requirements. The best score out of the two attempts of JEE-Mains is considered.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions: The college offers fee remission based on income certificates. Full fee remission is available for annual incomes below 1 lakh, and 2/3rd fee remission is provided for annual incomes between 2 lakh and 5 lakh.

Course Curriculum Overview: The mechanical engineering curriculum consists of 6 theory courses and 2 lab courses per semester. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:10, and the faculty members are highly qualified, holding Ph.D. degrees. Exams are conducted in mid and end-semesters, with class sizes ranging from 75-80 students.

Internship Opportunities: Internship placements commence in August for pre-final year students. Both core and non-core companies offer internship opportunities to students from various branches.

Placement Experience: Campus placements begin in August for final-year BTech students and continue throughout the year. Eligibility for placements requires having no active backlogs, and a high percentage of students secure placements.
