Interview preparation journey

I asked my friend to get me in touch with HR at Mobikwik. Later I got a call from HR and scheduled a pre-screening round where they asked me about my experience and the tech stack I am experienced with. After that, I had 2 technical interviews with Sr. Engineering Manager and Head of Engineering. After that, I got a call from HR and she told me that my tech stack did not align with what the company was for.

Application story

I asked my friend at Mobikwik and he forwarded my resume to the Hiring Manager. I received a call from HR asking pre-screening questions and my previous experience. She asked if I was comfortable with the onsite interview. Since I am living in Delhi I went to their office. We had 2 rounds of tech interviews and after that, I discussed with HR.

Why selected/rejected for the role?

I had no experience with Java Spring Boot. Their tech stack was very different from my areas of expertise and they were looking for someone with more years of experience.

Preparation

Duration: 4 to 5 months

Topics: I prepared for Data Structures and Algorithms, OOPS, DBMS, OS, Low Level Design and full-stack development questions.

Tip

Tip 1: Prepare DSA well. Revise as many questions as possible.

Tip 2: Learn Low-Level Design as well.

Tip 3: Prepare for full-stack development interview questions as well.
