For freshers hiring at Mitsogo, there were a total 6 rounds which are as follows but based on business requirements it can be changed in the future in my case, it was as follows:

  1. Online Assessment 1 (Aptitude + Logical Reasing)
  2. Online Assessment 2 (Coding Round)
  3. Technical Interview 1
  4. Technical Interview 2
  5. HR Interview
  6. CTO Interview

Round 1: Online Assessment 1 (60 min)

It is an eliminatory round. It is an online assessment and you will have questions from Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning there were a total of 60 questions that needed to be solved in 60 minutes. The difficulty level of the questions was from easy to medium from topics such as Ratio and Proportions, direction sense, and other general quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning topics. Around 25-30 questions solved correctly are good to go for this round but cuttoffs can be changed according to vacancy or requirements.

Round 2: Online Assessment 2 (2Hr 45 min)

There were two sections in this assessment, one for technical and the other for non-technical roles.

  • For the technical role, this is a problem-solving assessment. Three questions need to be solved in 60 minutes. The difficulty level of questions is leetcode medium to hard, this is a major elimination round so be careful in that the test is proctored and the questions are not available on the internet so do not try to cheat. I got a variation of the 0/1 knapsack problem but that was not a straightforward question it takes a lot of time to design the test case and understand that it is a dynamic programming question, so try to think about the edge testcases.
  • For non-technical roles, you will have a comprehensive assessment. There were two essays that needed to be submitted and you can access the internet to gather points but the maximum number of tab switches allowed is four so be careful with that AI-generated content and plagiarism are strictly prohibited.

Round 3: Technical Interview 1 (30 – 45 min)

Mitsogo focuses more on problem-solving skills rather than theoretical knowledge. This round begins with a self-introduction followed by some questions on my projects, then two coding questions. Coding questions were quite easy, one question was about printing a star pattern. In this round, you only need to explain your approach to solving the problem very clearly to the interviewer.

Round 4: Technical Interview 2 (45 – 60 min)

This round begins with a self-introduction followed by a pattern printing question, but this pattern printing problem was quite complex the pattern consists of four different patterns, and after solving the question interviewer asked to modify the pattern. All you need to do is explain your approach very clearly to the interviewer. After the pattern printing problem, some questions about OOPs were asked followed by two puzzles, you can find and solve some puzzles on the GFG platform also. The interviewer will judge you on how you come up with an approach it can be wrong but be intuitive and think out of the box.

Round 5: HR Interview (15 min)

HR interview was a general discussion of the company’s policy and how your vision aligns with the company’s vision. Typical HR questions were asked in this round, you can find HR questions on the internet and prepare accordingly. It is not a major eliminatory round but be careful.

Round 6: CTO Interview (30 – 45 min)

The CTO interview starts with a general discussion on my background followed by a lot of questions on my major project so be honest about what you contributed to the projects and based on that further questions will get lined up. The questions were more on development technologies you preferred in my case questions were asked on Django, so be ready to face a lot of questions on your technology stack. There were questions on relocation and the company’s products and services so must check out their official website and gain some insights it would be really helpful.

Result – Got the offer letter
