Hello, Whoever is reading this I hope you are doing great!

I appeared for Max Life Insurance Ltd. – AI works for the position of AI-Analyst Trainee through their on-campus drive. A little about Max Life Insurance Ltd., it is a financial insurance company that is opening its new branches in the field of Artificial Intelligence. I appeared for the shortlisting + interview in March 2023 through college placement for an AI-Analyst trainee role. The whole procedure was in virtual mode.

Job Title:-AI Analyst Trainee

Location:

Gurgaon – HO

Process details :

  • Round 1 – Shortlisting
  • Round 2 – Technical Round
  • Round 3 – Interview

 Eligibility and Desired Qualification :

  • M.tech/M.Sc. CS/IT/IE/Math/Stats/OR/AI/DS graduate from 2022 or 2023 batch
  • Academic criteria (10th – 80%, 12th – 70%, Graduation – 60%)
  • Knowhow of supervised/unsupervised ML algorithms -Logistic Regression / kNN/KMeans/Random Forest / SVM/XG Boost/Naïve Bias/Time series forecasting etc.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python are mandatory, and hands-on experience in R is good to have
  • Knowhow of working with cloud infrastructure and high-performance computing (GPU/TPU) be a plus

 Round 1 – Shortlisting

This round was a simple CV shortlisting round based totally on the company’s preferences.

 Round 2 – Tech Round

In this round, the interviewer asked me about

  • My introduction
  • Some basic statistics Question
  • Excel Questions
  • Python Questions – Loops, arrays, etc.
  • One Puzzle
  • A lot about my projects from my CV

They were very much focused on the technical knowledge of the candidate. Grilled the hell out on coding and problem solving skills.

 Round 3- Tech/HR round

In this round, there were two interviewers. Question asked where

  • My introduction
  • Some questions from my project from CV
  • Again Python and SQL questions
  • Some Excel and Tableau questions
  • Statistical concepts

It was supposed to be an HR round but only technical questions were asked from me.
